Nitō Hamono Forge, a renowned Japanese swordsmithing house with a 350-year legacy in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture, was commissioned by the Tsugaru Domain to forge swords.
Beyond swords, it once manufactured everything from cannons to warships.
Today, its exceptional craftsmanship continues unbroken, evidenced by its designation as a factory certified by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
